Way Out – A Project-Based Learning Showcase
Way Out – A Project-Based Learning Showcase
Abstract
This is a conceptual showcase of learning and teaching practice in a design focused studio, where a teacher presents a general, contemporary topic, sets up an initial pace and then just leave the roll to unfold. Problem oriented subjective reasoning is emphasized, predefined positions and established postulates are discouraged. All without a strict framework.
Diving in the vault of accumulated knowledge and personal experience – acting on it, thus adding a new layer – the spiral cycle of a specific creative behavior is ignited. The whole process is based on and inspired by the tradition of Reflective Practice and its teachings, but severe interpretations and off track methodologies are welcomed. Failed attempts and dead ends serve us well.
