Going Public! Architecture, urbanism and interventions
Curation, Exhibition Design

Ranging from bold to subtle and temporary to permanent, the architecture and urban design featured in the exhibition offer inspiring and surprising interpretations of public environments and natural landscapes.

The exhibition's concept is based on the publication Going Public! Architecture, Urban Planning and Interventions in collaboration with the German publishing house Gestalten.

Going Public! showcases creative revivals of public spaces in urban and rural areas. The selection of projects presented at the exhibition illustrates the current scope and interest in the planning and repurposing the built environment of public spaces.

During the exhibition, Sofia Borges, the architecture editor at Gestalten, and Ana Popelka and Georg Poduska from the architectural studio PPAG Architects, Vienna, Austria, delivered insightful lectures with floor talks in the exhibition venue. One of the PPAG projects, Enzi Elements, a permanent exhibit at the MuseumsQuartier in Vienna, was displayed at the exhibition.
